Kanye West: Asshole Extraordinaire!

Kanye West is such an asshole!!!

Last night, during the MTV Video Music Awards, Kanye decided that he was going to interrupt Taylor Swift's acceptance speech after she was declared the winner for the Best Female Video. Kanye grabbed the microphone straight out of Taylor's hand and because an obnoxious rant about how Beyonce's Single Ladies video should have won instead.

Taylor Swift looked completely humiliated. Minutes after the incident Taylor Swift performed on stage and did a great job. She wasn't flustered at all.

Beyonce, who later on in the night was accepting an award for the Best Video category for Single Ladies, invited Taylor Swift to go up on stage with her and finish her acceptance speech.

Kanye did post a message on his web site apologizing to Taylor, but in my opinion, it's too little too late. Everyone already thinks he an obnoxiously cocky idiot.

Chris Brown Finally Speaks Out

Chris Brown, during an interview with CNN's Larry King, spoke out about the February 8th incident that left Rihanna's face black and blue.

Brown admits to having lost his temper, and although I don't agree with what happened by any means, I do give him props for never denying it and taking his sentencing like a man. The sentence consists of 5 years of probabtion and 6 months of community labor.

Throughout the interview, Brown resists Kings aggressive questioning about what happened the night of the incident and claims that out of respect for Rihanna, he will not discuss the specifics of that night.

Brown does go on to claim that he is still in love with Rihanna and that he heavily regrets what happened.

Brown said, "...it's probably one of the worst moments of my life. And I always wish like I could take it back. And every day, it's just something that sticks in my mind. And I've said countless times how sorry I am to Rihanna, and I just accepted full responsibility. But it's just one of those things I wish I could have relived and just handled totally different."

Sick of Jon and Kate

Okay, so, I have written about Jon and Kate Gosselin in the past and here I go again, right? But wait, this is a different type of post. This is an "I'm sick of them" post. When are we going to start talking about something else in the media or maybe about real celebrities?

Jon and Kate say that they don't do it for the publicity but Kate goes on Larry King Live and on the cover of People, while Jon schmoozes with the paparazzi and talks to them about his life and relationships, or whatever he calls them.

I just wish they would really take their kids into account like they keep saying they do. This is a terrible time for them and they shouldn't be going on television interviews or talking to the paparazzi. I'm so sick of both of them and their immaturity.

It's so frustrating. Any thoughts from you all?

Not a Very Interesting Week

So it doesn't seem like too many interesting things have been going on in the celebrity world this week: Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush were spotted together at a steakhouse in New Orleans, although her reps wouldn't comment on why they were together; it was officially stated that Michale Jackson will be buried on August 29, his 50th birthday; a pregnant Kourtney Kardashian wishes her dad was alive to see his first grandchild; a nude video of Eric Dane is being "investigated" by police; and Renée Zellweger went bonkers on The Jay Leno Show and beat up a piñata.

That's pretty much the bulk of it. I wish I had a long juicy story for you guys, but this is it for now. I'm sure though, that our celebrities won't let us down and will provide more drama for us to discuss next week. Have a nice weekend everyone!

New Baby Coming Soon for Celine and René Angélil

Yes, that's right. Celine and her hubbie, 67 year-old René Angélil, just found out on Monday that they are expecting their second child.

Celine had previously emphasized her desire to have more children many times over, but a hectic Las Vegas schedule made it nearly impossible, until now. She herself comes from a family of 14 children! No that's not a typo, 14, as in ten plus four.

The couple had assistance from a team of fertility doctors who made it possible for them to conceive again.

Their first child, also conceived with some help from the same feritility doctor, Dr. Zev Rosenwaks, is René Charles, born in January of 2001.

The singer, 41, decided to stop touring in March to concentrate on becoming a mother again. Now the birth of their second child could force a postponement of her return to Las Vegas in the fall of 2010.

Congrats to Celine. Not sure if I could ever be with a 67 year old guy, but more power to ya if you're happy.

Lasting Celebrity Couples, Day 5 of 5

The final lasting celebrity couple for this week is...Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne.

Here is one of the couples that you just either completely love or completely hate. There usually is no in between.

The facts though, cannot be argued. They have made their marriage work since 1982. Much longer than any of the other couples showcased this week.

A little history...
Sharon and Ozzy met when she was 17 and he was 21 in 1979. Her father, Don Arden, managed the band Black Sabbath, in which Ozzy was the front man. However, Ozzy was soon fired from the band and replaced by another lead singer.

Sharon, who was ruthless and hardworking, became his manager and they started dating shortly after. Her tough management style paved the way for a successful solo career for Ozzy.

On July 4, 1982, they were married on a beach in Hawaii.

The couple has three children, Aimee, born in 1983, Kelly, born in 1984, and Jack, born in 1985.

We all got to see a glimpse into the lives of this bizarre yet caring family on the MTv reality show, "The Osbournes," in which the entire family participated except for the oldest daughter, Aimee. The show premiered in March of 2002 as an instant success. Its final expisode aired on March of 2005.

Through all of the yelling and name-calling on the show, a love and support of one another was always present. Sharon and Ozzy really do love each other. If you never got to see the show, you might be thinking that I'm crazy. I'd suggest you watch an episode or two. I think you might be pleasantly surprised at how much this family actually cares about one another.

A loving quote from Ozzy about his wife who battled colon caner: "She's not allowed to die before me. I couldn't live without her."
